St. Clements Church of England Camberwell
Give the Anglican church a break - they did lose over $160million in share speculations when Yankee bubble burst. They aren't going to recoup that by rebuilding old churches!

Photo commissioned by Mrs.B.Noble 1998

Situated 14 km west of Singleton on the New England Highway on what is now Glennie Street
at Camberwell,  The oldest Anglican church in the Parish of Singleton.
The highway has moved south away from the church with the building of each bridge across Glennies Creek.
The old road (Dulwich road) and the Falbrook crossing of Glennies creek can be clearly
seen in the photo. Further up the hill the old road once had a Black Smith and Wine shop.

Looking south across Camberwell from Dulwich hill. St Clements is in the centre
of the frame.
